Caity Grant, Studio Director

"Welcome to the world of dance! My name is Caity Grant and I am the Studio Director for Lone Star Dance Academy, Panhandle. I am thrilled to be a part of the community of Panhandle! I am beyond blessed to have been given the opportunity to share my love and passion of dance mixed with my other passion, teaching. My goal at this studio is to expand the technique and knowledge base of dance in all of its forms. This studio will have a fun, safe, and welcoming learning environment at all times with one thing on the mind and one passion in the heart, dance. We are going to learn about the art of dance while obtaining technique, appreciation for the art, and growing mentally, kinesthetically, and artistically. If you can walk, you can dance, so stop by and find a place of dance to call your own."

Caity Grant is a graduate from WTAMU with a B.A in English with multiple Dance and French credits achieved through the University. She has been dancing since the age of 3. She started at Amarillo College, moved to Oklahoma City and took from their dance company there until the age of 10. Upon her return to Amarillo she attended Dee's Dance Studio until she graduated from Caprock High School. While attending Caprock High School she was a pioneer for their dance team and named Dance Major, All American Dancer, All State Dancer, National Dancer, and Outstanding Officer. While attending WTAMU she was a one-year Thunderette, Venom Vixen Dancer, and on their Pom Squad coached by Debbie Byrd. Currently, Caity is a high school English and Dance teacher at River Road High School and their Drill Team sponsor. Caity has had a passion for dance of all styles since she could remember and is excited to have the privilege of instilling that same passion and appreciation into others through the expression of dance.
