Vicki Mclean, Director of Dance for Lone Star Ballet/ Lone Star Dance Academy, oversees all of the artistic endeavors of both entities in designing the curriculum and class schedules. She has a double Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Television Film Productions with a minor in Theatre Arts and a Master of Fine Arts in Dance and Administration from Southern Methodist University. Ms. Vicki, as the dancers call her, has extensive credentials in the dance world, in theatre and television and film performance and productions, and in the academic settings.

Leslie Williams

Leslie Williams is Interim Director of Dance at West Texas A&M University. A passionate teacher who draws on life experiences, Leslie creates work entwined with humor, sorrow, and real - life. A native of the Texas Panhandle, Leslie E. Williams started dancing at a young age. She trained and performed with Lone Star Ballet and at West Texas A&M University in many key roles and performances, dancing and teaching. Additionally, she has served as Dance Captain for the musical drama TEXAS. In the year 2000, Leslie earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance from West Texas A&M University. In pursuit of a professional career, Leslie located to Chicago to train with Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, and she pursued a Masters Degree at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, ultimately earning an MFA in Choreography and an MFA in Performance. While attending the University of Michigan, Leslie worked with David Dorfman, Peggy Linman, Peter Sparling, Bill DeYong and others. With graduate degrees in hand, Leslie joined the professional modern dance troupe in Ann Arbor, Peter Sparling Dance Company. During that time, she also taught dance, holding teaching positions at Wayne State University and at Dance Gallery Studio. In 2006 Leslie returned to Interlochen Center for the Arts as summer faculty. She continues to perform with Peter Sparling Dance Company, and is assistant professor of Dance at WTAMU. Leslie now teaches dance at her Alma Mater, perpetuating a legacy of dance excellence to a new generation of dancers.

Roxann Seaton

Roxann's dance training began in 1993 with Neil Hess. In 2004, she came to the Lone Star Dance Academy. During the summers of 2001-2004 her dance training continued at the Jillana School Summer Dance Intensive. In 2003, she also attended a New York City Rockette Intensive, the summer of 2005 took her to a Summer Dance Lab at Whitman College. Along with almost twenty years of Nutcracker, her performances include "Lucy" in Dracula, "Molly Goodnight" in Lone Star Trilogy, "Firebird" in Firebird, and "Step Mother" in Cinderella. Another passion was performing at Amarillo Little Theatre. Those productions included "Will Rogers Follies", "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", "Hello Dolly" and several Academy productions. The brightest spot in her life is a beautiful, blue-eyed daughter, Jada.
